  • 1 ONION
  • 1/2 CUP CHICKEN STOCK OR WATER
  • 1 TSP LIME JUICE
  • 1/2 CUP HEAVY CREAM
  • OLIVE OIL
  • BUTTER
  • 1 TBSP DRIED OREGANO
  • 1 TBSP PARSLEY
  • SALT AND PEPPER

Instructions
 

  • FOR CREAMY GARLIC CHICKEN
    LET'S START BY POUNDING 2 CHICKEN BREASTS TO FLATTEN THE THICKER SIDE
    DRY BRINEWITH SALT AND PEPPER ON BOTH SIDES
    SET ASIDE FOR A FEW MINUTES
    MINCE CLOVES OF GARLIC
    CHOP THE ONION
    HEAT THE PAN AND SPLASH WATER OVER IT
    ADD OLIVE OIL AND BUTTER
    ADD GARLIC AND LET INFUSE THE OIL
    SEAR CHICKEN ON BOTH SIDES UNTIL COOKED THROUGH
    ADD MORE OLIVE OIL IN THE PAN IF THE PAN GETS TOO DRY
    SET ASIDE FOR LATER
    REMOVE THE GARLIC CLOVES AND ADD BUTTER TO THE PAN
    PUT ONION UNTIL TRANSLUCENT
    ADD 1/2 CUP WATER CHICKEN STOCK
    SQUEEZE THE JUICE OF HALF A LIME AND MIX
    ADD PARSLEY AND OREGANO
    SIMMER UNTIL ONIONS ARE SOFT AND LIQUID HAS REDUCED
    POUR HEAVY CREAM
    MIX UNTIL COMBINED
    WHEN SAUCE IS READY ,ADD THE CHICKEN AND SIMMER 1 MINUTE
    ITSREADY!
