MOROCCAN COOKIES

100 g flour
90 g Sugar
90g butter
A handful of whole almonds
1 Egg
1 Egg yolk for the gilding
A pinch of salt
STEP 1
In a salad bowl mix sugar, flour ,almonds,salt and butter, egg
STEP 2
Wrap the dough in cling film and make in fridge on hour
STEP 3
Roll out the dough cut using cookie cutter and drop on a baking sheet
STEP 4
Brush cookies with egg yolk ,drop an almond on each short bread.
